Mike Hinchey is President of IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing), founded by UNESCO in 1960, and Professor of Software Engineering at University of Limerick, Ireland. He is Chair of IEEE UK and Ireland for 2018-2019. Until end of 2016, for 8 years he was Director of Lero-the Irish Software Research Centre, a multi-university research centre with a footprint in each of Ireland's universities. Previous positions include Director of the Software Verification Research Centre at University of Queensland, and Director of the NASA Software Engineering Laboratory at Goddard Space Flight Center; he has also served as a NASA "Expert". Hinchey holds a BSc in Computer Systems from University of Limerick, an MSc in Computation from University of Oxford and PhD in Computer Science from University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of IET, British Computer Society, Irish Computer Society (of which he is also Vice President), Engineers Ireland and Engineers Australia. He is the author or editor of more than 20 books, including the forthcoming "Software Technology: 10 years of innovation in IEEE Computer" (Wiley, 2018), more than 200 papers, and holds 26 patents. He is Editor-in-Chief of Innovations in Systems and Software Engineering: a NASA Journal "(Springer) and Journal of the Brazilian Computer Society (Springer)
Prof.(Dr.) Anurag Kumar - Director, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India
Prof. Anurag Kumar is the current Director of the Indian Institute of Science at Bangalore, India. He was a professor at the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, and the Chairperson of the Electrical Sciences Division at the Indian Institute of Science, before becoming the Director. On 29 March 2014, the Council of the Indian Institute of Science selected him as the 20th Director.He worked at Bell Labs in the US before joining as faculty at the Indian Institute of Science. His main research area used to be TCP/IP, but now he has moved into wireless networking focusing on sensor networks. From 1989 to 2001, he coordinated the project ERNET for networking the major education and research institutions in India. This project was instrumental in bringing network connectivity to Indian students and researchers in the late 80s and early 90s. He has been an elected Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering since 1999 and an elected Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy since 2006. Indian National Science Academy. Prof. Partha Pratim Chakraborty is an Indian computer scientist. He is a distinguished professor and the present director of IIT Kharagpur. Dr. Chakrabarti has made pioneering research contributions and has solved a number of open problems. His work has been incorporated in standard text books as well as industry level tools of major international companies. He has published more than 200 papers in international journals and conferences and supervised two dozen PhD students. He is also an honorary awardee of Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, the highest science award in India, for the engineering category in 2000.

Pavithra Prabhakar is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Peggy and Gary Edwards Chair in Engineering at the Kansas State University. She obtained her doctorate in Computer Science and a masters in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by a CMI postdoctoral fellowship at the California Institute of Technology. Her main research interest is in formal analysis of cyber-physical systems with emphasis on both foundational and practical aspects related to automated and scalable techniques for verification and synthesis of hybrid systems. She is the recipient of a Marie Curie Career Integration Grant from the EU, a National Science Foundation CAREER Award and an Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award.

Venkata Narayana Padmanabhan is a computer scientist and principal researcher at Microsoft Research India. He is known for his research in networked and mobile systems. He is an elected fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Association for Computing Machinery. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards for his contributions to Engineering Sciences in 2016.

Currently he is an Honorary Professor with the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and INSA Senior Scientist and Adjunct Professor with the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore. Prior to this he was a Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Automation at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. During the last 48 years of his long service, his teaching, research, and development interests have been in the areas of Parallel and Distributed Computing, Computer Architecture, CAD of VLSI Systems, High Performance Computing, Mobile Computing, Theoretical Computer Science, Real-Time Systems, Soft Computing, and Computational Neuroscience including Machine Cognition. In these areas, he has over 1150 publications in refereed International Journals and refereed International Conference Proceedings including 29 technical reports. He is a coeditor/co-author of twenty two books and has authored 13 chapters in other books. He has supervised over 30 Doctoral theses and over 160 Masters’ theses in the above areas. In the areas of Parallel and Distributed Computing, and Soft Computing, he has been a Principal Investigator for a large number of Government-sponsored research projects and a Consultant to a few industries.
